Valour performs the detailed recording and updating of information that encompasses a company's operational equipment, including all hardware and software components.  Such information typically includes all versions and updates that have been applied to the applicable components.   Valour has special configuration management software available to meet all of our clients’ needs.  When a system needs a hardware or software upgrade, Valour can access the configuration management program and database to see what is currently installed.  We can then make an informed decision about the upgrade needed and quickly respond, ensuring our clients are always current with the best components and information available.

 

Valour specializes in Configuration Management (CM).  CM is a technical management model that focuses on establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance and its functional and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life.

 

Valour's personnel were responsible for coordinating the complete transition for the U.S. Marine Corps’ fleet of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) from the Pioneer to the Shadow.  This transition was performed for two combat deploying squadrons while in an extremely high operational tempo and completed in less than one year!  Both squadrons were trained in the System’s Operations and Maintenance and were completely supplied with all System components.  A permanent training track for all disciplines was incorporated into the Army’s training plans.   During this period, our personnel also coordinated the creation of a third active duty VMU squadron to the details.  Subsequently, a fourth VMU squadron has been established within the Marine Corps Reserves.
